Detailed Day-wise Itinerary

DAY 01
Arrival at Phuentsholing
On arrival in Phuentsholing your Bhutanese Guide shall meet you at the Bhutan gate and assist you with the immigration formalities and hotel check in. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
DAY 02
Phuentsholing - Thimphu
After breakfast, complete the remaining immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. Visit the Rinchending Goempa located at a few kilometers from Phuentsholing. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for photography. Enroute Lunch at local restaurant. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
DAY 03
Excursion to Punakha/Wangdue
After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft), on the way stop at Dochula Pass at 3150 m to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags. Enjoy the winding roads and the nature at its best as you drive further towards Punakha. While in Punakha, take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang which is also known as the “The Temple of Fertility” and was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Enjoy a Picnic Lunch in the banks of Mochhu River. Then, visit the Punakha Dzong. Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal the Dzong served as the seat of the Government until the time of the Second King of Bhutan. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). It is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo. If time permits, visit the Suspension Bridge, which is one of the longest in Bhutan. In the evening, drive back to Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu.
DAY 04
Thimphu Sightseeing – Paro
After breakfast visit the Hindu Temple formally known as Devi Panchayan Mandir which was consecrated on 1st October 2019. Then visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). It is located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre. Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Visit Takin Preserve Centre. Takin is the national animal of Bhutan. Finally visit the Folk Heritage Museum. traditional house giving an insight to the Bhutanese lifestyle, and artifacts from the rural households. Lunch at a restaurant in Thimphu. Afternoon transfer to Paro (7,480 ft.). On the way stop and view the Tamchog Lhakhang. It was built in the 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo who is also known as the Iron bridge builder. Situated on a hill top, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. In the evening explore the Paro Town. Stroll around the local market shopping for souvenirs. Overnight stay at Paro.
DAY 05
Spiritual Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery)
After breakfast, drive to the base of the Taktshang Monastery, abode of gods and monks. The monastery is a 2 -3 hours hike uphill from here. One feels truly blessed reaching the monastery. The primary Lhakhang was built surrounding Guru Rinpoche’s Meditation cave in 1684 which clings to the edge of a sheer Rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress which gives its name “Taktshang” meaning Tiger’s nest. Overnight stay at Paro.
DAY 06
Paro Sightseeing - Phuentsholing
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Then Visit the Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Lunch at Paro. After lunch, transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Phuentsholing town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
DAY 07
Phuentsholing
After breakfast check out from hotel for your onward destination.

  • Bhutan provides immense opportunity for photography. Please follow your guide's instruction while visiting Dzongs, monasteries and other monuments. Photography inside the Dzongs and monasteries are not allowed. If you wish to photograph local people in Bhutan you can ask them by gesture or the guide will help you get the permission.
  • All of your accommodations are arranged in 3 star hotels as certified by the Tourism Council of Bhutan. Please note that Bhutan being a new emerging tourist destination with limited infrastructures, the standards may not match with those in other places.
  • Your package is booked on a SIC (Seat-in-Coach) basis, which means transfers and sightseeing will be conducted in a shared coach with other travelers. Seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
  • Travel with exclusive vehicle to Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station vice versa is available at an additional supplement cost, as per the group size and arrival time, mentioned after the cost column.
  • Currently sale of tobacco is not allowed in Bhutan due to the problems faced during the recent Pandemic. However, use of tobacco products in Public is strictly prohibited. All the rooms in hotels in Bhutan are non-smoking rooms.
  • Bhutan's standard time is +6 Hours GMT. Bhutan uses 220/240 volts system. Electricity supply is generally good but it may be less stable in smaller towns around the country. The sockets used are the Indian round pin sockets. The adapters may be found in the hardware shops around Thimphu.
  • Buying antiques are illegal in Bhutan unless you have a special permission from the concerned authorities.
  • Gratuity and tipping is a standard practice in Bhutan. How much to tip is a personal matter.
  • Every group has a Trip ID like 12345

  • To apply for the online advance permit we require scan copy of passports (valid for more than 6 months from the date of exit from Bhutan)/voter ID/Birth Certificate in English (for children below 18 years of age), passport size photographs and travel insurance of each passenger traveling to Bhutan.
  • TCS (Tax Collected at Source): Is mandatory for International Travel Packages 20% TCS is applicable on individual transactions above Rs. 10, 00,000 / - per annum.
  • As per Union Budget 2025 , 5% TCS will be applicable on International travel packages up till Rs. 10 ,00,000 /- (excluding TCS) against each PAN in a financial year (FY). Above this limit, TCS will be applicable at 20% on the incremental amount.
  • TCS is neither a cost nor additional tax, it can be fully adjusted against income tax liability and excess, if any, can be claimed as refund.
  • In case the above mentioned sights are mentioned in your itinerary and the day falls on any of the above days OR any of the sightseeing places are closed to tourists for any reason, we shall do other sightseeing’s in its place. The Above days are as per Bhutanese calendar
  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
  • A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
  • Although your package includes all three meals as per itinerary , i.e., breakfast , lunch and dinner, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during your journey.
  • If you are travelling during the winter carry heavy woollen clothes, monkey caps, shawls and monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
  • Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Payment Terms

  • Any confirmation is subject to an advance deposit of 75% of the package cost and has to be paid immediately.
  • Balance Payment has to be made in advance and must be paid before 30 days as per the departure date.
  • We do not accept Cash Receipts or Cash Payments in Account. If any cash is deposited in our Bank Account it will be considered as 100% penalty & no service will be rendered.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation received no. of days prior to departure: 0 to 30 days - 100% cancellation fee on Net Tour Price (per person)
  • Cancellation received no. of days prior to departure: 31 to 60 days - 50% cancellation fee on Net Tour Price (per person)
  • Cancellation received no. of days prior to departure: 61 to 90 days - 25% cancellation fee on Net Tour Price (per person)
