Distance: 165 km | Drive: 5-6 hours | Pangong Lake: 14,500 ft. Leave after breakfast for the famous Pangong Lake (14,500 ft / 4,350 m) via Agham and Shyok villages. This is a beautiful route through rugged mountain terrain. Pangong Lake is a high-altitude salt-water lake that extends from India to China - about 134 km long. The lake is famous for its changing colors throughout the day - from shades of blue to green to grey. The lake gained popularity after being featured in Bollywood movies. Enjoy the stunning beauty and tranquility of this pristine lake. Overnight stay at camp/hotel near Pangong. NOTE: In peak summer the Shayok road may close due to weather conditions.
